SPRING COOKING CLASS SERIES AT RIVA
We are thrilled to announce our upcoming series of cooking classes. Starting April 9th and continuing every Tuesday night for 5 weeks, Riva will be running classes, based on a traditional Italian meal. We start with a bread baking class, then pasta, seafood, meat and dessert.
All classes are demonstration classes, so you can sit back and watch the recipes being made while sipping on a glass of wine. You will be served food throughout the evening - the menu will be based on the theme of each week. (One glass of wine is included. Any additional beverages will be charged separately.)
Classes start at 6pm.
Class size is limited to 10 people.
Classes are 3 hours in duration.
Cost: $150 ($132.74 + HST)

Three pasta techniques will be demonstrated in this class. First, we will make a fresh egg pasta dough, roll it and show you how to cut it into fresh tagliatelle. Second, we show you how to roll the dough and make a filled pasta such as ravioli. Third, we will show you the best technique for cooking and saucing good quality dried pasta. Throughout the course of the evening, we will serve you a series of pasta dishes prepared in class, and a complimentary glass of wine. (More wine may be purchased.)
